On behalf of men who are silent
Yet so loud in their head.
So silent in their loudness
Men who are so broken.
Shout out to we Men who are scared to confess our feelings,
We who promise today to love you.
And still I can’t confess it.
We who have insecurities but walk head high,
Men who cry in the dark and smile on the bright
Shout out to men fearing to love,
Scared to express what we want,
Scared men who reconsider their decisions in fear of offending people.
Shout out to men who ignite the fire
And don’t know what to do next
We Men who fear talking about our previous relationships in current ones,
To us men who fear opening up our past to our present,
Men who never want to lose what they have for what they had.
Men who can’t speak of what they’ve been through,
Shout out to men who feel unsafe,
Unwanted,
We who have never felt safe,
And someone will ask why?
But the real question would be,
What would it take for us to feel safe?
What would it take to feel safe and wanted?
To men who are silent but loud in their head.
You will be heard.
Yours Truly
❤️
